Janairo receives award from Laguna Medical Center

THE Laguna Medical Center (LMC) awarded a plaque of recognition to Dr. Eduardo Janairo, retired regional director of the Department of Health-Calabarzon (Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Rizal, Quezon), for his exemplary efforts and utmost dedication in the development and improvement of its health care services during a ceremony commemorating the hospital's 98th founding anniversary on Wednesday, March 2. Janairo has been instrumental in the hospital's development and progress during his early years of service, which he spent in the province of Laguna and after being assigned as regional director for Region 4-A, delivering essential innovations needed in providing quality health service to its clients. 'We have to upgrade more government-owned and operated hospitals and health facilities to accommodate the growing number of patients and attend to all types of emergency treatment. A hospital must always meet the demands of their clients from consultation to treatment,' he stated. LMC is a tertiary, state-run hospital, owned and controlled by the Provincial Government of Laguna. It is located in the town of Sta. Cruz. It is one of the biggest and most capable hospitals in the province.
