If he is elected president, Sen. Panfilo "Ping" Lacson said that he will conduct a post-construction audit of various government road projects to determine whether public funds were used properly.

The senator and presidential candidate wants to check whether the materials used were substandard so he could go after whoever were short-changing Filipino taxpayers. He raised the need to audit the projects implemented by the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) and its contractors to determine whether the budgets for road repair or construction were spent properly.
