Roque seeks to empower LGUs further if elected senator

FORMER Malacañang spokesman and now UniTeam senatorial bet Harry Roque seeks to push legislation which will further empower local government units (LGU) by providing more funds for projects that benefit their constituents should he win in the May 2022 polls.

Roque vowed to refile his bill on the Reform Advocacy for Village Empowerment (BRAVE) program – a proposed law that guarantees an annual Local Development Fund (LDF) to help LGUs implement their three-year comprehensive development plans – if he gets elected.
