AS his term as Health secretary ends in June, Francisco Duque 3rd said that he wants to be remembered as having led the Philippines' coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) pandemic response that resulted in fewer deaths.
The country has, so far, reported a low case fatality rate, with the current at 1.54 percent, or 56,451 deaths out of the 3.663 million infections reported on March 1.
