SC asked to stop 'Oplan Baklas'

(UPDATE) A SCHOOL in Roxas City and some groups asked the Supreme Court to declare as unconstitutional the application of the Commission on Elections' (Comelec) 'Oplan Baklas' (removal of electoral posters and paraphernalia) on private properties.

The petitioners were the St. Anthony College of Roxas City Inc., represented by Geraldine Denoga; Pilita Liceralde of Isabela for Leni; and Anton Mari Hao Lim of Zamboangueños for Leni, all volunteers supporting Vice President Maria Leonor 'Leni' Robredo's presidential bid.
