The Japanese Ambassador to the Philippines led the inauguration of LRT-1 Cavite Extension Project.
The extension project will cut travel time between Baclaran and Bacoor to only 25 minutes.
Japanese Ambassador Koshikawa Kazuhiko attended on February 23 the ceremony marking the completion of the Baclaran Expansion Depot in Pasay City for the LRT-1 Cavite Extension Project — an essential project to realize the LRT-1 Cavite expansion and increase the capacity of the line. The depot expansion — which had civil works, buildings, and facilities — was completed with the assistance of the Japanese government through the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA).
