10 fishing boat crew rescued off Tawi-Tawi island

TEN crewmembers of a distressed fishing boat were rescued by the Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) off Mapun island in Tawi-Tawi.

According to a report from the PCG, the Coast Guard Station Northern Tawi-Tawi received a distress alert on February 21 informing them that F/Bca Divina Bien owned by Bienvenido Ituralde Jr encountered engine trouble off the island of Mapun.
