Duterte endorses 'crusader' Padilla, 3 other bets for Senate

PRESIDENT Rodrigo Duterte on Friday endorsed the senatorial bid of actor Robin Padilla and three more candidates who are attempting to win a Senate seat in the May national elections.

In a taped interview with Presidential Communications Secretary Martin Andanar, Duterte described Padilla as a 'crusader' and 'very honest,' believing he would play a 'critical role' in the Senate once elected.
