IP filings up 11% in 2021

INTELLECTUAL property (IP) filings grew by 11.6 percent last year as lighter quarantine restrictions reignited business and IP-related activities, the Intellectual Property Office of the Philippines (IPOPHL) said.

In a statement on Tuesday, IPOPHL said total IP filings last year reached 46,496, up from 41,668 in 2020.
