A TOTAL of P254,087.05 worth of assistance was recently released to the local government unit of Guipos, Zamboanga del Sur by the Department of Science and Technology Regional Office 9 (DoST-9) for the procurement and installation of S&T initiatives in identified conflict-vulnerable zones in the area.

The project aims to primarily provide access to S&T interventions for the 120 members of the Women Empowerment Movement Rural Improvement Club of Barangay Dalapan, Guipos through the provision of food-related training equipment, food technology skills and food safety training.
