Roque sees no martial law if Marcos wins

Senate candidate Harry Roque Jr. is confident that there will be no return to a dictatorial government if former senator Ferdinand 'Bongbong' Marcos Jr. gets elected as president.

The former spokesman for President Rodrigo Duterte said that anti-Marcos group's 'paranoia' should stop as institutional safeguards and international mechanisms are in place to deter any sitting Philippine president from ever placing the entire nation under martial rule.
