THE government has approved the revised metrics against the coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) that will be used to determine what alert level would be raised over provinces, highly urbanized cities, and independent component cities in the country beginning March 1, a Malacañang official said.

Acting Palace spokesman Karlo Alexei Nograles said the Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF), during its meeting on Thursday, decided to make changes following the recommendation of the Sub-Technical Working Group on Data Analytics.
