THE Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) reported on Friday that $14.60 million in foreign portfolio investments, or "hot money," entered the economy in January.
According to the most recent figures from the central bank, last month's net inflows — the result of $731.42 million in gross inflows and $716.82 million in gross outflows — were a turnaround from the net outflows of $4 million in December previous year.
