METROPOLITAN Bank and Trust Co. (Metrobank) posted a 61-percent increase in its full-year net income in 2021 as a result of strong fourth-quarter earnings.
The Ty-led lender announced in a disclosure on Thursday that it netted P22.2 billion last year, which is 60.86 percent higher than the P13.8-million profit it made in 2020.
