SEN. Sherwin Gatchalian on Wednesday said he wants the Pantawid Pasada Program (PPP) to be institutionalized to mitigate the impact of oil price hike among public utitlity vehicle (PUV) drivers and other vulnerable members of the public transport sector.
"This is a tried and tested program already. We have done it in the past, in many of the aberrations in world oil prices," said Gatchalian, Chairman of the Senate Committee on Energy.
