(UPDATE) VACCINE czar Carlito Galvez Jr. said on Wednesday that the Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF) is supportive of the downgrading of restrictions in the National Capital Region (NCR) to the most lenient Alert Level 1.
We will discuss this on Thursday, the possible de-escalation to Alert Level 1 of Metro Manila. We have seen that the situation is quite good, the number of cases is decreasing and the vaccination rate in Metro Manila is high)," Galvez, also chief implementer of the National Task Force Against Covid-19, said in a TV interview.
