(UPDATE) PRESIDENT Rodrigo Duterte has appointed former Commission on Elections (Comelec) Commissioner Antonio Kho Jr. as associate justice of the Supreme Court.

This was confirmed on Wednesday by Atty. Brian Keith Hosaka, head of the court's Public Information Office.
