First PH disaster response ship sails from Japan

THE first 97-meter multi-role response vessel (MRRV), considered as the largest vessel acquisition to date of the Philippine Coast Guard (PCG), is on its way to the Philippines.

According to the PCG, the Multi-Role Response Vessel (MRRV)-9701 left the Shimonoseki Shipyard, Japan on Monday.
