Gibo backs mandatory military training

SENATE candidate Gilbert 'Gibo' Teodoro supported the proposed compulsory national service complementary to mandating the youth to engage in military service.

The former Defense secretary said that the Armed Forces of the Philippines has a limitation in its capability to accommodate, train and equip reserve forces if military service for the youth will be mandatory, and having compulsory national service in place would resolve that.
