DPWH allots P300M for new bridge

THE Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) on Wednesday announced that a budget of P300 million was allotted to replace the aging Marcos Bridge, locally known as Tawiran Bridge, in Meycauayan City.

The project will be managed by the Bulacan Second District Engineering Office of the DPWH and it is scheduled to be replaced within this year with a new structure that conforms with the latest DPWH standard bridge seismic design specifications.
