THE Asian Institute of Management (AIM) and Straits Interactive signed a memorandum of agreement (MoA) to deliver the Data Protection Officer Program for rollout in April 2022 under the School of Executive Education and Lifelong Learning.

The joint initiative was to provide a robust course on privacy and data protection to empower data protection officers and other privacy professionals to build trust and create a culture of privacy and compliance within organizations. The AIM would also join the Data Protection Excellence (DPEX) Network, a virtual community where organizations, institutions of higher learning and certification bodies came together to promote and advocate enhanced privacy and data protection in the Southeast Asian region.
