APARRI, Cagayan: Dozens of Olive ridley sea turtle (Lepidochelys olivacea) hatchlings were released into the sea here on Monday, the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) in Cagayan Valley (Region 2) said.
Executive Director Gwendolyn Bambalan of DENR-2 and Community Environment and Natural Resources (CENR) officer Joselito Razon led the release of the sea turtles, locally called pawikan, in Barangay Punta.
