THERE is a possibility that a fourth or even fifth dose of Covid-19 vaccine may be administered on immunocompromised individuals to boost their protection from the virus, according to the chairman of the Vaccine Expert Panel (VEP).

The suggestion comes after some countries, such as Israel and South Korea, are considering or are administering a possible fourth dose of the vaccine for persons with immune conditions.
