STAKEHOLDERS of the sugar industry denounced an order recently issued by the Sugar Regulatory Administration allowing the importation of 200,000 metric tons of sugar.

The United Sugar Producers Federation (Unifed), one of the biggest federation of sugar planters in the country, is seeking a temporary restraining order (TRO) against the SRA for issuing Sugar Order 3 (SO3) while sugar milling is at its peak.
