GT Foundation Inc. (GTFI) and Metrobank Foundation Inc. (MBFI) virtually kicked off their gift-giving tradition on Feb. 1, 2022 with 'Bags of Blessing' as part of their Chinese New Year celebration. The Year of the Water Tiger marked over a decade of the program, which had touched the lives of 98,000 families across 195 sites nationwide since 2011.

The custom endured, as 'Bags of Blessing' assisted a new batch of 10,000 families in 20 sites across the country in partnership with Caritas Philippines and the Philippine National Police (PNP) with the support of select Metrobank branches.
