A MAJOR broadsheet posted in their social media account on Tuesday that "Executive Sec. Salvador Medialdea has signed a memorandum directing all gov't agencies to prepare for the implementation of the national ID system, Malacañang says." As expected, a number of netizens reacted negatively to the post. Out of the 90 comments as of 5:32 p.m. that Tuesday, only two commented positively, and three others talked about unrelated topics. This shows that a little over 94 percent of those who commented on the post had something bad to say against the Philippine national ID (PhilID).
