FOR years now, the Department of Science and Technology-Philippine Textile Research Institute (DoST-PTRI) has put the climate change agenda at the forefront of its various research and development (R&D) projects and activities.
On the occasion of its 55th anniversary, DoST-PTRI launched several innovative and sustainable programs and products to advance the textile industry in the Philippines at the TELA Conference, held virtually on January 27. The TELA Conference was also part of the celebration of Philippine Tropical Fabrics (PTF) Month.
