HONG KONG: The office of the commissioner of the Chinese foreign ministry in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) strongly rejected the so-called statement issued by Britain and some other members of the "Media Freedom Coalition."

The office firmly rejected the statement which slandered Hong Kong's press freedom and smeared the HKSAR government's law enforcement activities, said a spokesperson of the office.
