Unemployment rate up in Dec

THE number of unemployed Filipinos slightly went up in December, the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) said Thursday.

In a virtual briefing, National Statistician Dennis Mapa said that based on the preliminary results of the latest Labor Force Survey (LFS), the number of unemployed went up to 3.27 million from 3.16 million in November 2021.
