A TOTAL of P1.6 million worth of smuggled cigarettes were seized in Zamboanga City by the Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) and the Bureau of Customs (BoC).
The PCG said it received a report from the Enforcement and Security Service and Customs Police Zamboanga City last Sunday that the latter discovered a truck loaded with approximately 48 cases of cigarettes inside sacks covered with seaweeds and dried fish.
