Trough of LPA outside PAR affecting Mindanao, Palawan--Pagasa

MORE rains are expected in Mindanao and Palawan due to the trough of a low pressure area (LPA) which is outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR), the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services (Pagasa) said on Saturday.

The weather disturbance, however, has a very slim chance to enter PAR and develop into a tropical depression, according to Pagasa weather forecaster Nikos Peñaranda.
