Region 12 meat vendors urged to obtain permit

MIDSAYAP, North Cotabato: The National Meat Inspection Service in Soccsksargen or Region 12 (NMIS-12) reminded market and online meat vendors to obtain permits to sell their products from their respective local government units (LGUs).

According to NMIS-12 Regional Technical Director Roberto Umali, vendors are allowed to sell meat-based products in the market or online amid the recent cases of African swine fever (ASF) reported in the Soccsksargen region.
