Philippines fails to make Women's Asian Cup finals with loss to South Korea

The Philippines' historic run in the 2022 AFC Women's Asian Cup came to an end on Thursday.

In its first ever appearance in the semifinal round of the tournament, the 64th ranked Philippines bowed to 18th ranked South Korea, 2-0, at the Shree Shiv Chatrapati Sports Complex in India.
