THE Senate ratified the bicameral conference committee report on the disagreeing provisions of Senate Bill 2395 and House Bill 5793, or the proposed "SIM Card Registration Act."
The measure aims to curb fraud and other crimes "aided by" subscriber identity module (SIM) cards, said Sen. Mary Grace Poe, chairman of the Senate Committee on Public Services.
