THE Philippines logged 9,493 new cases of the coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) on Tuesday, falling below the 10,000-mark for the first time in nearly a month, the Department of Health (DoH) said.
The last time the DoH reported less than 10,000 cases in a day was on January 4, when it tallied 5,434 new infections. The number of active cases decreased to 176,053.
