SORSOGON Gov. Francis Joseph "Chiz" Escudero over the weekend said the Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) should reconsider its April 2022 phaseout of nonmodernized or traditional jeepneys.
Escudero, who is seeking a Senate comeback in the May 2022 national and local elections, said the planned phaseout of traditional jeepneys "will add yet another burden to Filipinos in this pandemic."
