THE Philippines' trade gap hit a record high of $5.21 billion in December 2021, preliminary data released by the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) showed.
Imports went up by 38.3 percent year on year to $11.48 billion while exports grew by 7.1 percent to $6.27 billion, according to the PSA.
