THE low pressure area (LPA) spotted in the vicinity of Central Mindanao was expected to bring rains over Bicol Region and parts of Visayas and Mindanao, but it would exit the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) by Thursday, the state-run-weather bureau said on Tuesday. Weather forecaster Benison Estareja, of the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration, told The Manila Times that the LPA was last tracked in the town of Talacogon, Agusan del Sur. 'It is expected to bring rains and thunderstorms in areas in Bicol, Visayas and Mindanao, but the weather disturbance is projected to exit PAR still as LPA by Thursday,' Estareja said. 'By Friday, it will be generally-fair weather all over the country.'
