SEN. Panfilo "Ping" Lacson said he would turn the Philippines as a "model nation" in the fight against climate change should he become president.

Lacson, who was presidential adviser on rehabilitation and recovery during the Aquino 3rd administration, said he intends to transform the Philippines from being a "poster country" of global disasters into a model nation when it comes to exerting efforts in the fight versus climate change.
