Senate asked to pass bill granting tax exemption on teachers' poll honoraria

THE Alliance of Concerned Teachers asked the Senate to tackle and pass the bill to exempt teachers' honoraria from election work to be subjected to tax.

It said that three bills filed by Senators Maria Lourdes 'Nancy' Binay, Sherwin 'Win' Gatchalian, and Leila de Lima have not been deliberated yet despite measures being relatively easy to pass.
