NATIONAL government agencies utilized their budgets faster in 2021 than in 2020, data released by the Department of Budget and Management (DBM) showed on Friday.
From January to December 2021, agencies spent P2.77 trillion of the P2.92 trillion released under notices of cash allocations (NCAs), a 95-percent usage rate, quicker from 93 percent the year before.
