SSS covers workers confined at home for sickness, injury

State-run Social Security System (SSS) confirmed on Thursday that Covid-19-infected individuals in home confinement are covered by its Sickness Benefit Program.

Members who are unable to work due to sickness or injury and are confined in a hospital or at home for at least four days may be eligible for the sickness benefit, SSS stressed in a statement.
