Emotional leadership styles to use to become an effective leader

THIS article will help leadership practitioners in choosing the right approach and style to use for the situations that leaders are in.

According to Daniel Goleman, Boyatzis and McKee (2002), there are six emotional leadership styles, namely: Authoritative, Coaching, Affiliative, Democratic, Pacesetting, and Coercive. These leadership styles were described in their book titled 'Primal Leadership.'
