Metro Manila logs negative Covid growth

THE Covid-19 growth rate in the National Capital Region (NCR) dropped to less than 1 percent on Sunday after soaring to as high as 15 percent during the past week.

The negative growth rate was met with guarded optimism by OCTA senior research fellow Dr. Guido David, who said it was still too early to consider it as an indication that the Omicron-driven surge in Metro Manila was beginning to slow down.
