More hotels reactivated as quarantine sites

MORE hotels will be converted into temporary treatment and monitoring facilities (TTMFs) to accommodate the growing number of patients with mild symptoms or asymptomatic, an official of the Department of Health (DoH) said.

The move came as the department logged 34,021 new Covid-19 cases on Thursday, a new record, pushing the total active cases to 237,387.
