PHILIPPINE Red Cross (PRC) Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Richard 'Dick' Gordon led the multipurpose cash grant (MPCG) distribution to 877 people in Mandaue City and Cebu City. Nonfood items were distributed to Typhoon 'Odette' (international name: 'Rai')-affected residents in Talisay City on January 6.

MPCG was disbursed in two different areas in Cebu. Gordon led the distribution of P3,500 cash assistance to 627 families at Mother Retrude Gym, Barangay Jagobiao, Mandaue and proceeded to Barangay Inayawan, Cebu City to distribute P3,500 cash assistance to 250 families.
