Duterte taps Davao City councilor to head Mindanao Development Authority – Palace

PRESIDENT Rodrigo Duterte has appointed Maria Belen Acosta as the new chairman of the Mindanao Development Authority (MinDA), Malacañang announced on Wednesday.

Acosta, who announced her resignation as Davao City councilor on Tuesday, will serve for a term of six years, said Acting Palace spokesman Karlo Alexei Nograles.
