THE Philippine stock index returned to negative territory on Tuesday as pandemic worries affected investors' sentiment.

The 30-member Philippine Stock index declined by 0.77 percent, or 54.98 points, to 7,085.69, while the broader All Shares dipped 0.64 percent, or 24.42 points, to close at 3,775.46.
