FDA PH approves Biocare Lifesciences's 'Bexovid,' the world's first generic of Pfizer's 'Plaxovid'

ON Jan. 7, 2022, Biocare Lifesciences Inc (BLI)., the exclusive importer and distributor of Bexovid (150mg Nirmatrelvir tablet and 100mg Ritonavir tablet) in the Philippines received compassionate special permit (CSP) after the approval of the Food and Drugs Administration (FDA) for mild to moderate Covid-19 treatment.

Nirmatrelvir and Ritonavir combination, is an innovative product of Pfizer which is approved by US FDA under brand name Paxlovid.
