La Union surfing capital placed under lockdown

A FAMOUS surfing area in La Union province tagged as the 'Surfing Capital of the North' was placed under granular lockdown after two of the close contacts of the famous 'Poblacion Girl' attended a fund-raising event in a resto-bar there.

San Juan town Mayor Arturo Valdriz placed the surfing area, particularly in Barangay Urbiztondo, under granular lockdown for 15 days starting January 8 through an executive order dated January 7.
